So pleased to find this picture as the couple standing on the far left are my great grandparents Harold and Hilda (not Audrey) Sims (one ‘M’). As the caption correctly identifies, the little girl is my grandmother Audrey Withers nee Sims.
Hilda Sims was the sister of the Bride. Harold was a dairy farmer who grew up on Green Meadow Farm, Haydon Wick before meeting Hilda who collected the farm’s milk for Brown’s Diary on Rose Street. After marrying, Harold and Hilda Sims were tenant farmers at their own diary farm near Calne.
