THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GEORGE WILLIAM SIMS

Martin Robins will tell us about the fascinating life of George Sims, a Swindon man who started life working in the Railway Works but later went on to do missionary work in Rhodesia for which he was awarded an MBE. He is now commemorated in Swindon with a plaque outside his birthplace in Rodbourne. I know that Martin has done a tremendous amount of research and I hope you will join us for what will be a very interesting talk about a local man.”
