Additional Info – The photo shows the only remaining example of the iron railings that protected the Western boundary of the GWR works. The bridge handrail in the foreground is on the footbridge to the Mannington Recreation Ground changing rooms and car park and the bridge in the back ground is the footbridge for the old cinder path from Mannington Rec. to the bottom of Redcliffe Street, used by many workers from Shaw & Wootton Bassett. The brook featured is the Elcombe Brook which runs into the River Ray at the bottom of Morris Street.
