Additional Info – This photo in the later years of the Rockets shows the improvements to the track in that unlike the early days there is now a concrete inner kerb. It would be near the time when the Rockets would be disbanded due to a large number of their riders being called up for National Service.
Also notice the trees in Morris Street which were felled when the present semi-detached houses were built on Brown’s Field.
